Privacy Policy Safe Bed App

INTRODUCTION

ADiTech S.r.l. provides the “Safe Bed App” (hereinafter simply the “App”), which allows caregivers, healthcare professionals, and family members to remotely monitor the activity of individuals in bed, receive immediate notifications, and access useful information to help prevent risky situations and intervene promptly.

The App is distributed by ADiTech S.r.l., headquartered at Via G. Valenti 2, 60131 – Ancona (www.aditechsrl.com).

DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

The personal data processed by the App are those of the duly registered user (name, password, userId), and the purpose is exclusively to enable the user to access the App.

Specifically, the App allows users to view:

  • Presence/absence in bed
  • In-bed activity during sleep
  • Sleep quality

ADiTech S.r.l. does not use in any way the data collected by the App for user profiling, for offering products or services other than those provided by the App, or for any other commercial purposes. Therefore, the use of cookies - technical or otherwise - is not envisaged.
However, please note that third-party IT systems and software procedures supporting the operation of the App (e.g., Apple Store, Google Play) may acquire certain data related to the user as part of the provision of their services. Such data transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols and the operation of smartphones and devices. ADiTech S.r.l. is not involved in these processing activities, which are carried out independently and exclusively by their respective controllers, and cannot be held responsible. Users are therefore encouraged to review the privacy policies published by these platforms.

This App is designed solely to display the data described above. It does not perform any type of diagnosis, provide treatments or therapies, or carry out preventive functions. Therefore, it must not be considered a medical device.

To use the App, the user must allow the App to access certain resources of their mobile device, such as:

  • Network: to enable the display of monitoring data.

PROCESSING METHODS

Personal data are processed using methods strictly related to the purposes described above, stored only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, and protected with specific security measures to prevent data loss, unlawful or improper use, and unauthorized access. No personal data acquired through the App are disclosed to unauthorized third parties.

PLACE OF PROCESSING

The data collected by the App are processed both at the Controller’s headquarters and at the Web Hosting Provider’s Data Center (Aruba), which:

a) acts as an authorized external Data Processor;
b) is located within the European Economic Area and operates in compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 679/2016 – GDPR).
